Fabio Falchi, responsabile della commissione tecnico scientifica di CB-UAI-IDA ha vinto il premio Galileo 2005 dell’International Dark Sky Association.
Il premio verrà consegnato in occasione del prossimo simposio europeo dell’IDA che si terrà in Belgio fra il 29 ed il 30 Aprile prossimo. é la terza edizione del premio e la seconda assegnata all’Italia per l’enorme sforzo all’avanguardia in Europa nella lotta all’inquinamento luminoso ed in particolare per il dott. Fabio Falchi, per i suoi studi scientifici sull’IL e tecnici su una illuminazione eco-compatibile.
Ringraziamo l’IDA per questo premio che dimostra i passi da gigante compiuti dall’Italia per lo sforzo sostenuto nella protezione del cielo notturno e per una illuminazione eco-compatibile.
5th European Symposium for Protection of the Night Sky will start. The symposium will take place on 29 and 30 April in the Europlanetarium in Genk.

You have won the 2005 Galileo Award. Congratulations for you many
outstanding achievements. IDA section leaders of Europe believe that you are a true
leader in protecting the dark skies, and you should be very proud of this
achievement.
I hope you will be able to receive it in person in Belgium, but if not, we will present it to Mario Di Sora who will return it to you in Italy. We are
